WHAT MAKES ME THE BEST COACH FOR YOU
Master’s in Science : Kinesiology - Rehabilitation & Corrective Exercise
WHAT IS CORRECTIVE EXERCISE?
Corrective Exercise is a technique that leverages an understanding of anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics to address and fix movement compensations and imbalances to improve the overall quality of movement during workouts and in everyday life.
Corrective Exercise is used to help assess and determine the root cause of imbalances and faulty movement patterns that lead to issues with posture, balance, and total body coordination. Once the issue or issues are identified, the Specialist can then develop an exercise routine that addresses the problem through foam rolling, stretching, and total body exercises.

WHAT IS THE RRM?
The Roll Model® Method is a soft-tissue conditioning, self-care fitness format that uses the various Roll Model® Therapy Balls for self-myofascial release (self-massage). This may include breath work, CheckIn and ReCheck, elements of alignment, anatomy instruction and mental awareness (such as conscious relaxation.
The four different Roll Model Therapy Balls used within the Roll Model® Method are the YTU Original Therapy Balls, the Therapy Ball PLUS, the ALPHA Ball, and the Coregeous® Ball. Each provide a different size and density to help target various body areas uniquely and allow for varying pressure needs to help craft an individualized approach.”

Use a customized mix of techniques tailored to YOU to design a personalized program
Most muscular inefficiencies can be found when a person walks! How you do one thing is how you do everything.
Oftentimes we feel pain or discomfort while were doing a specific activity (like working out) but the culprit is from our daily habitual movement patterns (how we walk, climb the stairs, lift the baby, clean the dishes, etc).
Getting a Gait Analysis is a great way to decrease your chance of injury and, what I like to call, PREHAB!
You will get a customized movement program to help even out your body’s unsymmetrical development through life. But hey, it’s not your fault! We have a dominant side that takes over for most tasks (ie. brushing your teeth, opening the door, initiate climbing the stairs, etc.) and then we have things we can’t control that effects our body (ie. our jobs, our family life, always being the driver of the car and having to get into the car on the same side everytime).
All these things that we voluntarily or involuntarily do programs our body and because our body is like a pulley system when there is a change in the part there is a change in the whole. It’s time to take a deep dive into your musculoskeletal system and set your body up for long-term success!
